What to Expect at Your Initial Homeopathic Appointment

Most people walk away from their first homeopathy appointment surprised by how different it is from any other appointment they've experienced. The amount of time, the depth we explore your symptoms, and the questions I ask will feel unique. Most importantly, I want you to walk away from our time together feeling seen and listened to.

Here's what to expect at your first appointment

Time: Two hours are held just for you. In our busy lives, it can sometimes be difficult to schedule this amount of time. However, it's really needed to find out enough information to select a remedy for you. (I try to provide flexibility in my scheduling, but if you don't see a time that works for you, please reach out!)

You do the bulk of the talking: A homeopathic appointment is a chance for you to share what has been happening for you. As your practitioner, I will likely ask some questions to understand more deeply what you are experiencing. You will be listened to and believed, because you know your body best.

Freedom to just be: You get to be yourself at the appointment! There is no way you "should" be or "right" way to answer a question. You get to share whatever you would like and as much as feels comfortable.

After the appointment: At your appointment, I listen and write down everything you say. However, most of the work happens after your appointment. I take hours to consider you and the remedy you need. There are over 7,000+ homeopathic remedies to choose from, and I need to pick just one that is well-indicated for you at this time!

Your initial appointment is just the tip of the iceberg, so to speak. It's designed so that I can learn a good amount about you, but it's just the beginning of our homeopathic relationship. Follow-ups are a chance for me to learn more about you and adjust your remedy as needed. Healing takes time, and I'm honored to work with you as you heal.
