The other day on a local Facebook parent group, a mom posted about her 8-year-old daughter's recent emotional ups and downs and asked for recommendations. Her daughter had been slamming doors, screaming, and saying some pretty hurtful things.
Of course, things like a whole foods diet, adequate outdoor time, sleep, family connection, and limiting screens are all important things to implement. Sometimes, working with a therapist might be necessary. However, I always love posting a suggestion that might seem out of the box: "Have you considered working with a homeopath?"
After I posted this, one of my real life friends in the Facebook group sent me a text. "Homeopathy can help with emotions?!" she asked. My reply: "Yes, girl! In fact, that's one of the main reasons my family is under regular constitutional care with our homeopath!" Emotional support for all ages is one of the ways that homeopathic care shines.
Life will always throw you curveballs and opportunities for growth, change, and evolution. A well-chosen homeopathy remedy can be by your side to ride the waves of life with you. Homeopathy doesn't suppress life's emotions. But, it does help you move through feelings with more ease, express them in a healthy way, and "level up" to experience life in new ways.
Homeopathy views you as a whole person. You are not just your physical body but also your thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Sometimes, those emotions get stuck and your body tells you through physical symptoms. As a homeopathic practitioner, I use these messages from your body to select a homeopathy remedy to get you unstuck.
Beyond basic support for life, homeopathy can help a person who has experienced some of the following:
Recent emotional upsets, like job loss, death of a loved one or pet, or a break-up
Childhood patterns, messages, or trauma
Feeling stuck or anxious about life, or moving into a new life chapter
Mental health conditions, like anxiety and depression
Homeopathic care does not replace working with a qualified therapist and/or physician, however it can complement other services and therapies. You should always work with your prescribing medical practitioner on your medication needs.
